In July 2004 I took Neelam on a work trip to New York. It was an eventfull week, which started very well with us meeting Spice Girl Emma Bunton (travalling with her mother and associate) in the BA First Class lounge at London's Heathrow. I remember being amused to hear Miss Bunton negotiating with the BA receptionist to allow her to bring in two guests on her Executive Club Gold card.

Daniel Radcliffe gives a barn-storming lead performance in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway

Sophie and I were in New York attending a charity event for victims of 9/11. Turns out that Dan Radcliffe is currently playing broadway, so we took the opportunity to take in his appearance in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (@H2SBway) on Thursday 22nd September. We were lucky in being able to secure 2nd row front centre seats, for what turned out to be a great evenings entertainment.

Daniel Radcliffe must be one of the nicest and accommodating A-lister's out there. He signs and poses for photographs with fans every night without fail following his performance. We managed to obtain a number of autographs on three separate occassions:

Anyone have photos or video of Daniel Radcliffe signing autographs in NYC at stage door on Wed 21, Thu 22, Sat 24 September to share ? Dan Radcliffe posed for a photo with my daughter Sat 24-Sep @H2SBway but we suffered a camera malfunction at precisely the wrong time - please help.

Met with some great people today at the show:

Comedy actor Melvyn Hayes - best remembered for his role in the 1970s TV shows It Ain't Half Hot Mum, and The Double Deckers. With a career spanning nearly 50 years Melvyn also has numerous film, and theatre roles to his credit and famously appeared alongside Cliff Richard, Una Stubbs and the team in early 1960s classic musicals Summer Holiday and The Young Ones etc.
